Artificial Intelligence

This statement is a disclosure, in an attempt to be open and responsible about the use of Artificial Intelligence.
It details what AI is used and how it is involved in the creation of the content on this site.
How is AI used?
AI is used as a research assistant. I use it when constructing a post, asking it to explain technical concepts to ensure I am as factually accurate as possible. I use multiple AI services to mitigate against hallucinations.
AI is used to check posts for accuracy and suggest improvements. I may occasionally take passages of text from AI responses and integrate them into a post where appropriate.
NotebookLM is an incredibly powerful resource for digesting data from defined sources, and creating content based on them. The Cipher Journal YouTube channel is NotebookLM AI Generated content.
I am not an artist. I have some basic graphics experience in various packages, but do not have the time to create my own images for every post. I would rather focus on the content. For that reason, I may use AI generate images to accompany posts.
How is it not used?
AI is not used to generate posts. Posts are conceived and written by me.
What AI is in use?
ChatGPT, Gemini, CoPilot are the three LLMs that I use daily. I also use Notion for drafting posts, document storage and note taking, and NotebookLM for reviewing documents.
